Meet Gina M. Rogers, M.D.

Board Certified Ophthalmologist | Cornea Specialist

We treat every patient the way we’d want our own family to be treated — with skill, respect, and heart.

When it comes to your eyes, Dr. Gina Rogers combines cutting-edge medical expertise with a caring approach. She’s a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in everything from comprehensive examinations, dry eye treatments, cataract surgery, lens based refractive surgery, and corneal transplantation —always with a focus on helping you see your best.

Dr. Rogers earned her medical degree from Rush University Medical Center, then took her training to the next level with residency and fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, one of the nation’s top ophthalmology programs. This extensive training has made her an expert in complex anterior segment ocular surgeries including cataract surgery, pteryigum surgery, superficial corneal corneal surgery as well as partial and full thickness corneal transplantation surgery.

As an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Cornea Society, the Chicago Ophthalmologic Society, and Women in Ophthalmology, Dr. Rogers stays on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in her field. She has served as a volunteer on the American Board of Ophthalmology, helping examination development and administering the oral board examinations.

When she’s not helping patients achieve clearer vision, Dr. Rogers enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three kids, often diving into DIY home projects that give her a chance to flex her creative muscles outside of the operating room. She’s a firm believer in the power of vision—both in terms of your eyes and your outlook on life.
